The Aim Of this course to provide Drivers with the knowledge and information required to prevent harm from hazardous material. Hazardous Material Transportation training is generally not high on healthcare personnel's list of fun things to do. However, complying with the legal requirements and international standard and being prepared to manage contaminated victims and internal spills are necessary in order to protect healthcare personnel, victims, patients, the facility, and the community. All drivers will learn about hazardous material safe transportation and emergency spill response procedure.
