SAFE USE OF CONSTRUCTION HOIST

SUMMARY

          Construction hoist operators ensure the safe operation of hoists that are used for personnel, goods and/or materials. These types of construction hoists are commonly used on large scale building projects, such as high rise buildings or major construction sites. Moreover many types of industry use hoists for full time operations, the purpose being to carry personnel, materials and equipment quickly between the ground and higher floors, or between the floors throughout a structure. This training is let you have an understanding of the broad principle on the safe use of hoists on construction sites. This course gives participants a basic knowledge of the principles related to safe hoisting practices in the construction industry.
