About this course
The Signalman Training is aimed at providing individuals with the knowledge and skills to prepare and to tie the load for safe lifting by any form of lifting equipment using correct and clear signals to guide the crane operator in the maneuvering of a load safely to its destination.

COURSE CONTENT: 40% of the course focuses on the practical aspect of signaling and the remaining 60% of which will be lectures, teaching them the legal requirements, roles and duties as a Signalman. * Pre-Use Inspections * Slinging Applications * General Safety * Wire Rope Slings, Webbing Slings, Shackles & Hooks * Safe Working Load * Unique Identification of Current Color Code * Safety Hooks & Pipe Hooks * Rules for Slinging * Signalman Video * Estimate load and determine center of gravity
