How it is written

Each procedure states the steps, the responsible roles, the frequencies and the records produced, so it can be followed on the day you buy it. Every requirement of the standard is mapped to a document in the clause cross-reference matrix — so you can show an assessor where each requirement is met. Auditor notes flag what assessors look for and the nonconformities that come up most often.

Internal auditor training included

This edition adds a complete internal-auditor (IQA) training pack: a participant handbook covering the standard clause by clause from an auditor's viewpoint, a trainer's guide with a two-day agenda, a slide outline, exercises with model answers, a 30-question examination with its marking scheme, and the course records.

Please note

ISO 29993:2017 states auditable service requirements in shall language, but it is not a management system standard and this kit does not promise a certificate. No ISO accreditation specification exists for it: the one in this family, ISO/TS 21030:2023, governs certification of an educational organization management system to ISO 21001 only, builds on ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and never mentions ISO 29993; as a service standard a properly framed attestation would sit under ISO/IEC 17065 rather than ISO/IEC 17021-1, and it is not a recognised sub-scope of the international accreditation arrangement, so any certificate sold against it must have its standing checked case by case and no claim of IAF accreditation can be made at all — the IAF ceased operations on 1 January 2026 and was succeeded by Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated (Global ACI) with a single merged mutual recognition arrangement. Conformity is demonstrated instead by the evidence the clauses themselves compel: a self-declaration supported by a complete evidence file for one course traced end to end along the Clause 4 to Clause 14 chain, second-party verification by a corporate sponsor, funder or tender panel auditing its training provider against that clause list (the most common route in practice), or a commercial third-party audit taken for what it is. Where a certificate is genuinely required, the standard organisations certify to is ISO 21001:2025, Educational organizations — Management systems for educational organizations, which is harmonized-structure, certifiable and backed by ISO/TS 21030:2023; ISO 29994:2021 adds the distance and online learning requirements ISO 29993 does not carry.
