Overview

About this course

ISO 9001:2026 was published on 16 September 2026, and organisations certified to the 2015 edition must complete their transition by September 2029. This is the implementer's course, not the auditor's: it teaches the 2026 edition as the current standard rather than as a list of changes, and it takes you from the moment top management signs the mandate to the day the certification body makes its decision.

The programme follows the order in which the work is really done — business case and gap analysis; context, including the climate-change determination; interested parties, scope and applicability; the process map with owners, measures and risks for each process; the quality policy, quality culture and ethical behaviour; risks, opportunities, objectives and planning of changes; resources, organisational knowledge, competence, communication and a documented information set that stays lean. Clause 8 is worked through in full for both a manufacturer and a service organisation, and the closing modules cover performance evaluation, the reorganised clause 10, the internal audit programme, the first management review and the certification audits themselves.

It is written for quality managers, management representatives, engineers and consultants in the GCC who own a QMS project. By the end you can scope a system, design its process architecture, produce the documented information clause 7.5 requires and no more, and host a Stage 2 audit with confidence.

Assessment is a 30-question online exam with a 70% pass mark, leading to a verifiable SKEDMIA certificate. Approximately 16 hours of self-paced study, with a downloadable template pack and a dated implementation planner.
