Overview
About this course
An integrated management system is not three systems audited on consecutive days. It is one set of processes that must satisfy ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 at the same time, and auditing it well means holding three sets of requirements in mind while interviewing one process owner. This course trains auditors to plan, lead, report and defend an integrated certification audit.
The programme works through the common Annex SL architecture clause by clause, then gives each standard its own module: ISO 9001's customer focus, design and nonconforming outputs; ISO 14001's aspects, life cycle perspective and evaluation of compliance; ISO 45001's worker consultation, hierarchy of controls and contractor control. It is exact about the differences that catch auditors — ISO 9001's applicability mechanism, three definitions of risk, compliance obligations at ISO 14001 6.1.3 against legal and other requirements at ISO 45001 6.1.3. The last three modules cover practice: audit time under IAF MD 11 and MD 5, team competence under ISO 19011:2018 clause 7, Stage 1 and Stage 2 under ISO/IEC 17021-1, integrated sampling, grading findings, and a report carrying three recommendations.
It is written for auditors, IMS managers and consultants in the GCC who already know one of the three standards at internal auditor level. Afterwards you can size an integrated audit, trace one process against three standards in a single pass, write defensible nonconformities against the correct clause, and make three certification recommendations from one body of evidence.
Assessment is a 30-question online examination with a 70% pass mark, leading to a verifiable SKEDMIA certificate. Approximately 16 hours of self-paced study.
Practise the audit before you do it for real
Reading a clause and auditing against it are different skills. Enrol on this course and you also get 6 months of AuditVerse, our interactive practice platform — you work through ISO audit scenarios, decide what to sample, and see how a finding holds up when it is challenged.
