SUMMARY
The Objective of this training is to provide the attendee with the basic understanding of the requirements of Confined Space Rescue so that the attendee can go to the next step of becoming fully trained in Confined Space Rescue.
COURSE CONTENT:
Course comprises of lectures, Interactive groups and Individual workshop, case studies, role play exercises, giving touches of real time scenarios, including the following topics:
*Confined Space Identification and Hazards – Air Monitoring, Controlling Hazards, Communications, Blowers, Emergency Retrieval System Use, And Emergency Procedure.
* Confined Space hazard Eliminated, what you need to know, what are Hazards, Atmospheric Hazards, Multi Gas Meter, what is Air, Carbon Dioxide, Abbreviations, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulfide, Contaminates, Physical Hazards, Log out Tag out System, Noise, Other Atmospheric Conditions, and Falling objects.
* Rescue Techniques (Non-entry, Entry by others & Entry by trained employees from company)
* Other Hazards – Psychological Hazards, Equipment Emergency Retrieval, Communication, Blowers, Safety Equipment’s.
* Other PPE-Protecting Confined Spaces – Emergency Response, Entry Supervisor Duties, Non Entry Rescue, Review, Positional Hazards.
* Review key points associated with a Confined Space Rescue Plan

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
*Anyone working in or around an area of the workplace meeting the definition of a Confined Space should be trained at the awareness level.
*This course is designed for workers, supervisors, foremen or anyone who may need to rescue a coworker from a confined space area.
