The purpose of the Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) training is to provide workers with information to prevent exposure to H2S. Hydrogen Sulfide is a potentially deadly gas associated with oil and gas deposits. H2S is toxic, colorless, soluble, flammable, and creates toxic by-products. Health effects of H2S include eye irritation, and suppression of the nerve centers
