About this course
SUMMARY
The aim of this course is to provide all course candidates with a firm understanding of the current legislation regarding permit to work and safe work procedure. Permits to work are an important means of fulfilling the Company’s general duty to ensure the health and safety of employees under section 2 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Non-routine work, such as maintenance, cleaning, equipment installation and refurbishment, can produce health and safety risks over and above those normally encountered in the workplace. To control these risks “permits-to-work” are being introduced.
